SOMEONE YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT ...

(maybe you already do?)

My red hat friend, Ginny, from Iowa, told me about a wonderful woman/author she and members of her chapter read and enjoy tremendously.

Her name is Joan Medlicott and she’s a wonderful author.

Her stories about The Ladies of Covington are warm friendly books that make you feel as though she’s either writing about you (I can relate perfectly to all three women on some level myself), or that these women are personal friends.

Women have told me they just can’t wait until the next book comes out so they re-read the previous books until the new one comes out.

I’ve learned a great deal about Ms. Medlicott from her book liners and also from stories on her website (http://joanmedlicott.com).

I was surprised to learn that she herself is a red hatter and has her own chapter called the The Mountain Word Sprites.

I’m enjoying her books very much and think many of you would also enjoy them so that’s why I’m giving Ms. Medlicott a link on our site.

In a world filled with anxiety, strife, sadness, her books are really a source of peace and tranquility. But more than that even, they’re stories women, especially red hatters, can absolutely relate to in some fashion.

I would just love to have a visit with The Ladies of Covington.  Ms. Medlicott’s books allow you to be there with them for a short time. A tranquil and lovely escape.

At first I imagined the books would be written about women from another era. I was surprised that the novels are set during this period of time. I half expect to read about Grace, Hannah and Amelia starting up they’re own red hat chapter in Covington.

Thanks, Ms. Medlicott for sharing your peaceful visions with us.

I can’t wait for the next two books to come out!

If you’re not already familiar with The Ladies of Covington books, please do yourself or a friend a favor and enjoy them. I know you’ll be happy you did.

I found copies of the books at Borders but I know they're easily found at many places.

It would be great if we could get Ms. Medlicott to come to our area for a book signing so we could meet her in person.
