The Dazzlin'Queens of Central Illinois are "pulling out all stops" as we try to make the 6th Annual Illinois Red Hat Gathering a Fun - Filled Recess as we do our share to help celebrate the 10th Anniversary of The Red Hat Society. 

" If it plays in Peoria, it will play anywhere". That's what people from all over the country have been saying about Peoria. Located in the heart of the conservative Bible Belt, Peoria, Illinois has been our country's sounding board or taste-tester for the past 9 decades.

This train of thought led us to the old Vaudeville acts that got their start in Peoria or perhaps, early in their careers, played here to help boost their popularity, such as Fibber McGee and Molly, Amos and Andy, Ma and Pa Kettle, to name a few. 

We are inviting you to come play in Peoria, Illinois with your Red and Pink Hat Sisters as they take a stroll down Memory Lane, visiting the threatre, listening to old radio shows, or just experiencing the rich history Peoria ( oldest settlement in Illinois ) has to offer, and to experience what being a Red or Pink Hat Lady is all about: laughter, fun, meeting new Ladies and forming new friendships that will last throughout your lifetime.

Remember playing Hopscotch, Red Rover, Jump Rope, Tug of War ??????

Friday, October 10
Registration will open at 9 a.m., most vendors by 11 a.m.. Go shopping, walk downtown
Peoria while waiting for your room, visit our vendors, or attend one or more of our various
Workshops. Complimentary refreshments offered. Lunch is your own.
Buffet dinner, entertainment, Un-talent Contest : 3 prizes will be awarded. Play late night
Games in our GAME ROOM ( including a game with a surprise twist ) or go to the
Paradice Casino via shuttle service.

Saturday, October 11
Breakfast with a Decorated Bra Contest. Registration will open at 9:30 a.m.to 3 p.m.- Vendors open at 9:30 to 5:00. Participate in our Scavenger Hunt, go shopping or take advantage of one of our workshops. Lunch is your own. Formal sit down dinner, Queen' s Walk and Pinning, Entertainment and PJ Party .
